Yup I think that's why. I worked in clubs and bars etc and it was a lot different. The men were ruder but then again I was able to be ruder. It was rather cards on the table.

What I meant was there is in my opinion more BS working in a club or bar. However the clients expect less. Not the same service or levels of intimacy. Also I always felt like I wasn't ever expected to bat my eyelashes and deal with it the way that certain clients in Ireland expect.

Here I find they are more demanding in the sense that they want phone conversations and texting before and appointment etc!!
. In the clubs although you had to put up with more crap you could be a lot blunter. You got asked how much a dance was and if someone tried to haggle with me I would tell them in no uncertain terms to piss off. Walk away and talk to someone else.

Going on my own experience, I've had punts in Ireland, Germany, Amsterdam and Australia!
