I believe itstimenow has a some good points. I can personally say I get lonely when I tour and reckon I am not the only one. I have a few friends that I can talk freely too at home which of course helps but it doesn't change the fact that I often spend weeks on the road alone staying in clinical hotels and random apartments.

However lonely doesn't mean I'm lonely for a mans company or attention. It doesn't mean I want to be asked out. I generally find ways of keeping myself busy, reading, idle gossip painting every nail a different colour
