when i was a kid, i thought making money was easy.
i thought there were 'play it safe' people who worked
for co councils etc.

there were those that wanted more and ran their own
businesses (cafes and take-aways etc). the latter were still working class
but their labours would bear fruit such as houses and prestige cars.

today, we live in a land of red tape, the authorities stifle all enterprise, and people who
never make an effort or intend to, get their needs met, but can all this last?

i've always been fairly lazy, but am highly unmotivated nowadays.
i think having wealthy parents has a big influence on
a descendents income outcome (i was born into a poor household).

It was explained to me once that there are four (legal) ways to make money - employee, self-employed, business owner or investor.
The employees and self-employed spend their lives slaving for peanuts while the business owners and investors make money from their sweat. About 95% of people are in the first two categories and have 5% of the wealth and vice versa.
