Don't think the girl should have to wait at all, if guys running late he should phone or text, just good manners. In my business if someones late and they don't contact me I don't do business with them, its as if their time is more important than yours.

Totally agree like I said a time is a time. But that should work both ways I hate to turn up for an appointment at the time agreed and then be lift waiting for twenty minutes or half an hour .

if you have an appoiment,and the person is not there at the hour he said,he doesn't let you know he will be late,do you still wait for him or make another appoiment? i always prefer to wait 10-15 mins to be sure he will come or not.
but sometimes the person comes just after i make another appoiment and i can't take it anymore. some people get annoyed,but i don't think is my fault,as i wait a few minutes and he doesn't let me know he will be late.
what do you girls think? how long time do you usually wait for somebody?
but you guys,how long time do you think the girl should be waitting for you? this in case you don't announce her you will be late.

Sometimes people can be 5, maybe 10 mins late. Dunno how though. I am always on time for appointments. Always.

the client should inform you if he is running late
if he does not then no one would blame you if you assumed that he was a timewaster
it's his loss, and you should not worry about it

I think it's all very simple. You make an appointment for example 8pm, if you can't make it exactly at that time as with doctors appointment etc you ring to re schedule. Maybe appointment can be made for 10mins later? I don't know I've been on time and left waiting.
