The guys on here seem to go on the guidance of fellow posters on here who they empathise with be it a TR or not. As for the majority of clients who don't read the boards does it really give a true reflection of what their appointment is likely to be like?
Mel, the TR badge was designed to help punters not Escorts.... They wil never use the system, so why put such weight on their vote?

Because they are the ones who would know if it is being abused.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

I've no reason to disbelieve the escorts who are complaining, but we don't know who's complaining nor who they're complaning about. So we have anonymous(e) complainers complaining about anonymous(e) people. Any TR fucking around ought to be reported to E-I and publically bulldozed off the boards after being outed as a scumbag.

Or perhaps because they feel extra pressure when meeting a TR. I would accept your judgement as JC (perhaps!) not JC the TR.

Sooooo earlier in this thread it was decided guys who don't review don't get to cast a vote..

Then someone else suggested Escort votes not count since the TR system is for punters (or some such)

Now.. what about TR votes.. it's likely some of these abusers we keep hearing about have entered the ballot so their votes should be null & void too..

And what about those bitter non TRs voting yes, disgruntled that they'll never have that shiney badge and placard up on their office wall, you know, something to tell the grandkids about.

So who does this leave for the one and only deciding vote? Ladies and gentlemen I suggest we give the floor to Texas

If the girls feel they are being abused by a TR why not report it to the mods name and shame him and take the TR back.

The week is almost up so the poll closes tonight with the vote in favour of scrapping the trusted reviewer status by 66 votes to 51.

I have read through the thread again today after ignoring it since Sunday and have noted some statements that I would like to comment on.

"but its us escorts that deal with these trusted reviewers therefore we are the only ones that know honestly how many are abusing the system"

Are escorts reporting the TR's and other reviewers that abuse the system? What is happening with these reports?

"How about giving the escorts some powers to report any abuse. Maybe a three strike system, and you lose it"

I would have expected that some sort of sanction should already be in place.

"add to the stress and pressure under which escorts have to work"
"for as long as there are TR's Joe Soap wont have a clue if he is getting the same service or not"

It shouldn't matter whether an escort is meeting a 'TR', Regular member, or a client that only comes onto the boards for phone numbers, the service should be the same. The only exception may be if a client - no matter which type - is unhygienic, rude, or obnoxious.

"I have heard it said, that some TR are thinking it is their right to take advantage of their status"
Who's saying it? Where are the reports? Where are the sanctions if proven?

"You dont announce who you are, and you dont try and influence a booking"

That would seem to suggest that those that do announce who they are, try to influence a booking.
I almost always book by pm, so I am announcing who I am, even though I never mention reviews or that I was a TR.
I didn't apply for TR status, I was given it at the time the system was introduced, and I was, apparently, given references requested by the reviews team, from escorts. I was happy at the time to be considered trusted, but I didn't think of it as something to gain advantages or privileges.

"80 percent of tr's announce who they are"

Where did this statistic come from, and what is the percentage on non TR's that announce who they are?

There appears to have been a bit of TR bashing all week even though it has been said that it is only a small number that abuse their 'status'. There is a need for some sort of system to distinguish between the honest & the dishonest, the good & the bad.
I hope that escorts and clients will work together in implementing a new system for the future that makes the business much better and safer for all concerned.
