I used to think you just became a TR when you reached some qualification.

I'm only copping now you can actually apply for it!

I have to question why I would want to become a TR?

Ego? Maybe. I'm a bloke after all.

To get a better service. Why not?

To help other punters? Ehhh, yeah sure.

2 out of these 3 are not good reasons to have this system.

And I do not wish to disrespect any of the current TRs, most of whom are very decent guys I have no doubt.

And after Rayden's post, I looked at the number of hearts that voted to abolish. A picture paints a thousand words.
As its a status symbol that is asked for rather than awarded I would take some convincing that these two are not the main motivators.
This is not intended as a slight on any of the current TR's (except the one's that have abused their position - you know who you are and you may consider yourself thoroughly insulted)

If thats the case then we need to change the rules. By announcing you are a TR is, to my mind, almost asking for 'special terms'.

However, when booking by PM, it is clear to be seen that the PM'er is a TR.

I just had a look at the list of Active TRs. I trust less than half of them. I dont mean that as a knock on their character or whatever, its just that I have no idea who they are. How can I trust them?

Is there something wrong with TR identifying himself over the phone?

I make all my appointments by PM, but if I were to ring up an escort and say "Hi, Mousey from E-I here...." and the escort recognises me as a truted reviewer - is there something wrong with that? (I'm not going to deliberately point it out to her or anything)

Thats a silly statement to make ray.. just because you dont know them doesnt mean they are not trustworthy. Its more a case of which tr you DO know and dont trust. By flagging a reviewer surely symbolises that someone somewere has deemed them trustworthy.

In fairness Mousey, all ladies would be eager to meet the face behind mousey and the last thing on their minds would be your badge

How can an advertisng company endorse a client? So, someone like say...Maxi for example, what is he? Trusted?

I dont know why you are all so shocked, it isnt like I havent mentioned this before.

They could be pimps for all I know. At least the ones who post here I can get a feel of their character.

Ok the gloves are off here.. the real reason the ladies don’t like the TRs is becoming all too clear… its because they know they have to work for their money and not give the shoddy service they would like to give to an innocent naïve Joe Soap..

    (I’ll get my coat……..)
