I would be hard work even without a badge.

“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

I am sure you would be pudy lol
as I think I read somewhere you never annonce yourself...
as for the new badge holders or the old ..who cares they all end up rotten just like fecking cops do...
the poll speaks for itself ... end the trusted reviewer as it is open for abuse and could even put an escort at risk as it tends to infer that e-i has verified these individuals and found them to be trust worthy... what a load of bull .... like I said trust no one
    I am done

Quite. I am not sure if they are old or new.

Ok lets examine the mindset here if we may. As Nutter so eloquently said it (well it wasn’t eloquent, but he said it anyway) we are looking at this with a blinkered viewpoint.

What is the main objective of the Trusted Reviewer.

Is it designed to protect the Escorts from Ugly Mugs and wasters?

No I don’t believe so, most Escorts wont even know what a TR is and in general Escorts wont even know they have seen a TR until the review is posted. So how does it act as a source of protection, unless it is announced beforehand. The badge was not designed for this purpose, it may by default help, but not what its design for.

Is it designed to help Punters, experienced or novice, to select reviews that are deemed more reliable/trustworthy than those not flagged.

Yes… this is my understanding why back in the good ol’ days this Badge was first introduced. Its prime introduction was not to help Escorts to be safer, not to make those chosen feel more privileged, but merely to help us the punter scan a review profile and more efficiently and effectively choose an Escort. It is only an added bonus that the escorts may use the badge to reassure the punter is kosher.

After the introduction pf the badge the number of reviews per reviewer was introduced, this proved invaluable too. But the badge is one step more, in so far as there is a reassurance attached that there is a system of vetting that this reviewer has passed the rigours of his peers and is deemed trustworthy.

This is why I put forward that it is a tool for the punter first, and the escort second, and that being only by default. Now girls please don’t come on here saying I am being thoughtless to the detriment of escort safety, I’m not… it is an excellent bi-product, but not the main reason it was implemented.

Therefore …I put it to you how relevant is the number of Escorts voting when in essence it is more a tool for the punter rather than the escort. An escort will never have to use or benefit from this system except by default…

The issue is, it is open to abuse. That is enough reason to abolish it. That outweighs the good of helping noobs IMO.

I used to think you just became a TR when you reached some qualification.

I'm only copping now you can actually apply for it!

I have to question why I would want to become a TR?

Ego? Maybe. I'm a bloke after all.

To get a better service. Why not?

To help other punters? Ehhh, yeah sure.

2 out of these 3 are not good reasons to have this system.

And I do not wish to disrespect any of the current TRs, most of whom are very decent guys I have no doubt.

And after Rayden's post, I looked at the number of hearts that voted to abolish. A picture paints a thousand words.
