Assuming no arguments so far ....

    1. Do you think that being homosexual is a choice or is it something else ?

    2. If you think it's something else, what is the else ? What is it that makes someone be homosexual ?
    1: Yes it's a choice
2: So they can drink wine spritzers in public without being ridiculed

Seriously are these questions for real? Being homosexual is not a choice, it's how the great space toaster in the sky made you!! This choice thing is something made up by religions!!

Surely you can't be covering more than .1% of homosexual men with that theory?
Every heard of the 'Rent boy?' I'd say 23% of 16-24 year olds

Of course. I understood what you meant. But where are u getting your statistic from?

It seems ridiculously high. But perhaps I am naive.

I make them up as I go along but I'm usually right on the money for some strange reason.

I think a lot of it is just curiosity, it was with me anyway. I am trisexual I'll try anything once.

Well lets agree it's somewhere in between .1% and 23%.

    Like .2% maybe :-)

a rent boy is gay for pay, just like an escort might do the same for a duo meeting. It doesn't mean they are properly homosexual

God, and use to think you were so sexy nothing is sacred anymore; I guess that's why I'll never return to Ireland, a large percent of the men are gay

Considering the tradition of bias, hostilty and discrimination against gay men in the past and to a lesser degree in the present both here and elsewhere (including in the law), I would have thought it highly unlikely that any man would chose homosexuality as a means of social advancement in the same way that some women are reputed to sleep or shag their way to the top. I would have thought it more likely that they would seek to hide their sexuality and stay in the closet so as not to damage their propects. Thankfully that situation in largely in the past in most progressive countries, though in some parts of the world you can still suffer serious consequences if you are gay.

I would have thought that a person's sexual orientation is something they are either born with or which has formed itself by their early teens and after that, they can do little about the type of person they are attracted to. While there may be those who are curious and interested in exploring something different or genuinely bisexual and attracted to both men and women, I think the vast majority of men do not chose their sexual inclination.....they are either naturally one or the other.
