i bought the paper after seeing the original post, nothing too bad in it. What I do have a problem with, is that after admitting she had a very good rep at home and that her family would "shoot" her if they found out what she did, the newspaper still thought it would be OK to publish her pics even though her face is blurred on the website.

Thats journalists for you. I have met many throughout my life, many were almost clueless about the specialism they were reporting on (Ecnomics, cars, sport or whatever). All without exception that I have met saw nothing at all wrong with bending the truth or ignoring peoples privacy because "it helps get an important message accross".

The worst example I was told about with no shame at all from the guy telling me was a of a reporter/cameraman combo in Africa reporting on a famine who wanted footage that would catch peoples attention instaed of "the boring usual shots of people sitting around starving".
What they did was put a barrel in the middle of a group of these poor people and threw a load of coins in the bolttom of it and then told them that anyone who could reach the money could keep it.
The report that went out on the tv showed the scene of people desperately diving into the barrell with the reporter telling a tale of how they had conincidentally come across this terrible scene where people were so desperate for food that they were rooting around in barrells for any scrap they could find and how helpless he felt when faced with this awful sight.

jesus that really is scumbag tactics!!!!

I was thinking though, the only good thing that has come of this article is that you don't have to worry that Amy's pics are verified, who'd of thought there were real girls that resembled their photos working for an Irish Agency
