    Doc
    If any thing was picked up during screening are they required to contact you.
    Could be a win win situation. Some one benefits from your donations and you get free screening 2 - 3 times a year
     little said is easy mended

    Was refused, as I had lived in England during the CJD panic. Didn't even get a cup of tea and a biscuit.

    Just out of curiosity do they run a standard test on the hiv or a dna test. I thought normal tests it's about 3 month for it to show and dna is 2 weeks...

    Well done mate, be good if there were more like ya. Have made afew blood donations already and i will certainly keep doing so. Never thought much about giving blood before until i was in hospital and seen the people in need of blood most, keep it going mate. top man.

    Of course you can Legs. The blood bank carefully screens for any blood borne infections.

    why won't they take blood if your on medication? can they not remove them from the blood?
