Just to be clear googleplex, I wasn't having a go at you and I appreciate the effort you're putting in. I was just wondering why having a pic on another escorting site was cause for a fake photo report.

not a bother, had not even read your post before postingm just making the point that I try and weigh things up, for every 10 reports I make id say I see 1 or 2 that I decide fall into whats happened here and not report but just on Laura, I remember weighing up the situation and came down on reporting as she was not well known and I reported others that also were not well known and they got activated and still are. I felt it was worth reporting and let ei decide were the other site profile just a lazy site, i felt ei would reject it to be honest but figured better to let them know and let them decide. This time I got it wrong and I really am very sorry to her. I do not want to cause any real and good escorts any bother, its only the fakes I am after and now and again this is going to happen but at least there is a good system of appeal going here to sort out any mistake.

Ive posted on another thread to clear this up but just to say to everyone that I do not just machine gun report as soon as I see a profile on another site, i weigh up the factors and I have only had I think two or three reports like these rejected, its of course regretable to make even a single mistake but its not possible to, does that mean my 170 reports that help avoid switch and bate should not have been made in case one mistake gets made ?

to ei's credit they have rejected ones they felt were just like whats happened here, but I have reported ones with verified pics before and report activated so having a green tick does not mean everythings ticketyboo.

again I really am sorry if a mistake was made but 170 to 1 is not bad, 170 to 0 would be better but thats just not possible but I think the system ei has of deciding if a report is correct or not is about as good as can be done but mistakes are unavoidable and I have already said sorry to Laura on forum and by pm and I hope this gets cleared up soon.

I, like I am sure many others, agree that identifying escorts who have lifted photos off other sites is a very useful exercise for the benefit of clients who may be thinking of seeing these escorts. However, it should be up to E-I to check out whether it is a case of an escort using somebody elses photos, or whether they are in fact her own photos which were used either on an agency site or on another directory site when she was touring in another country. As has been shown before, some agencies are slow to remove photos of escorts who are no longer with them and some directory sites retain photos and profiles of escorts who previously advertised with them, in many cases because they are linked in to the reviews on those sites.

The onus is on E-I to check that an escort is using her own photos via the verification photo process and whatever other means. In this case, as the escort's photos are marked as verified, and the fake photo report relates to a directory site which retains photos, then I think that E-I should maybe remove the fake photo report from the records.

I agree with you, its down to ei to decide. I dont think I have ever asked even once why such an such a report was rejected. i assume its been rejected just for this reason, that they felt it was a lazy site. I do see profiles that might be the same escort but the statistics are different and I think thats cause for activating.

If I have a question about why one is not activated I post about it, I dont send pm's annoying them when i have a fair idea why its been rejected.

I asked a few days ago why one report I made to point out that a profiles new replacements for fakes was unverified for two days got activated but others that are in the same boat but unverfied for 3 weeks got rejected

Can ei tell us why that is please ? most of them were agency, was the reason they were rejected because if they were them some agencys would not a have a single profile with an active pic but a wall of blank avatars on their main listings page ?

Some people (not thinking of googleplex here) do have a tendancy to jump up and down quite a bit when there is not a near instantaneous response from E-I. Maybe they can now appreciate, that if photos on profiles here show up as also being on other sites when checking them via tineye, that it does not automatically follow that somebody here is using photos of somebody else.

I want to thank ei for hard work, they always decide on mine fast, if made the night before they decide by mid day or afternoon the next day and if made in the afternoon they mostly are dealt with by the same evening. I have no complaints at all, just the odd question on procedure like I asked earlier.

googleplex is probably one of the most important posters on this site, he may of never posted a review (like myself) but as he says he has submitted 170 fake photo reports which in my opinion is just as important as submitting 170 escort reviews. Think of all the guys that decided to spend money with the right escorts due to his work. The work he does here is phenomenal, I have submitted about 20 myself and have been in contact with the guy by PM, some bloody work rate.

as for Laura, I feel sorry for you that this mistake has been made, but on the other side this is the first thread I can recall by an escort that has been falsely reviewed. It just goes to show that the honest escorts will get in touch with the community to set things straight
