I read 'Lord of the Rings' twice

Despite the films being 3 and a half hours long each, there is so much missed out from the books, and it gives an insight into the cultures, races and history of Middle Earth that a film cannot offer. I also love the Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy ('Northern Lights', 'The Subtle Knife' and 'The Amber Spyglass') if you like your might and magic/alternate worlds sort of thing.

I don't know maybe you should stick with the authur you just finished reading as he has a couple of other good books that I can't think of right now.

But here's a couple Amazon.com: One Hundred Years of Solitude (9780060929794): Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Gregory Rabassa: Books

Amazon.ycom: The Girl Who Played with Fire (9780307269980): Stieg Larsson, Reg Keeland:

You're lucky; I don't have the patience to read fiction, but if I did, I'd be at the book shop every other day!

The Bible is known as "The Good Book" just don't let certain people around here see you read it as they seem to be a little sensitive about religion these days.
