The Gardai won't give a shit fit two reasons;
1. They claim its nothing to do with them. Noise problems are to be dealt with by the Dept of the Environment.
2. The Gardai are not interested in anything that doesn't generate money our isn't an easy touch.

Video record their antics. Get onto the Dept of the Environment.
The landlord is responsible for their behaviour. Register a formal letter of complaint starting your grievance explaining this is unacceptable.
Ring the landlord twice a day every day asking what had been done about this and can it be guaranteed not to happen again.

Then past it to your solicitor and let them have a go.

This will work, unfortunately eventually.

I also like Rays approach above. Its easy enough to hire lads with bats.

Thirty K and you can hear a few students? That was a waste of cash then so

that just tell you how noisy the are, the wall between the houses is 22'' thick - the original wall, 2- 25mm soundbloc slabs, 100mm rockwool, a stud wall with another 100mm of rockwool and finally another 2- 25mm soundbloc slabs.

I can only hear noise when it gets completely out of hand, last night they all left at about 12 and i counted over 20 of the little bastards leaving, pissed out of their minds

I came home after a bad day at work, went to bed early, fell asleep only to be woken up by the students next-door roaring and shouting at the top of their lungs.

I phoned the landlord who said she'd call into them during the week WTF??? Their drunk and noisy now, I want something done about it now!

I went in and it took every bit of sense in me not to pull them out of the house by their hair! All I got was smart arse remarks!

Any suggestions what to do, I know next time I won't be able to control my temper and I will hurt them, so what do I do before I get myself into trouble?
