I'm always a bit late on catching up on threads but since we're on the subject of grandads - could you tell me in advance which respite & retirement home you're going to be practicing your aroma therapy in? I'm just going to put all my money into a pension fund to minimize tax and check myself into that nursing home now (30 years early) so that I am ahead of the que for you Lucy!![]()

The idea of paperwork scares me-I live a normadic lifesyle that doesn't really require too much info; although, I do have a checking account, I mostly use cash or prepaid credit cards. I've never owed anyone or anything more than $2600, so I don't need to a lot o paperwork because I don't believe in credit or owning a house, car or big ticket items-who needs a lot of shite!

Whatever I'm studying at the moment; I might take an Art History course, and want to visit the World's best museums-travel;i'm into Gardening right now, so I spend money on gardening; for while I was into fixing ,up my living space, money went on that. I have a bad habit of finding the most expensive things in the store without looking at the price tag-I've got the 'eye'

I am not on a tax bandwagon. However, I own a property and I use the NHS in my country. I have a moral obligation, I believe, to at least pay my due. Also, I wish to avoid being sued for unpaid taxes at some point. However, if I was a single mother moonlighting to cover her childrens costs and live a little, I would stay as far away from the tax etc as possible. Horses for courses.
