This is not a new phenomena, it was an innocent thread but ladies are only allowed advertise in the advertisement forums, thanking guys and commenting how a lady is looking forward to others guys visiting in a certain area can be viewed as indirect advertising which is not allowed in General chat, if it only happened occasionally I wouldn't see the problem but this practice got out of hand ages ago hence why the rule had to be adopted, it waas mainly the ladies that complained about this BTW and not male members, they felt because some ladies had a better grasp of the english language it victimised those that were only learning and couldn't intearct on the boards and indirectly advertise themselves as well as those that were fluent, there opinions won the vote..
