Like Lucy I have had the opinion for a long time that you take whatever drug floats your boat from across the spectrum of what's available with only one rule "You buy it with your own money" so as long as your not doing anything illegal to obtain your cash, carry on.

There is also in these financially tight times another option now and that is legalise all drugs. The government then takes a percentage, with the government being suppliers everything would be top class and Ireland would be financially sound again by the end of the year.

i dont think any society has been brave enough to handle the situation this way yet-
do you think there would be risks/downside?

No mate I agree society wouldn't be able to go along this route, although the government can take taxes from cigarettes and alcohol both proven killers. As for a downside to my suggestion I can't see one.

I have seen a surprising amount of drug use amongst escorts. More than I have ever seen in any other walk of life I happen to have been involved in.

Would have thought escorts need to keep a level head, ie be sober.

I have no idea Jack. I honestly can't answer. It was just my observation. Is one the cause or effect of the other?

personally i'd think it's the cash, most people that i know that use drugs frequently would be wealthy individuals, seeing as escorts have the potential to earn quite a few quid i'd see no reason why they like any other individuals that earn large sums of money would not dabble in drugs
