In fairness Doozie, the Policing of profiles is an important if not essential part of the effectiveness and integrity of this site. Without the help of Donna and the other sleuths that we have doing great work here it would not de done at all. I think it is disgraceful that a member whose only desire is to help the community gets an infraction. Posting a reference to another site is not sufficient grounds for same. By all means remove it and put your reason bellow as has been done for numerous other similar posts, but to infract without due consideration… bit harsh don’t you think…

Posting references to another site is grounds for an infraction.
If he wasnt sure he could always have pmd teh manager on duty to clarify whether it is ok

But what is rather disturbing still is the quickness of the infraction. Jaysus I would be afraid to post here lest an infraction will pop out of the blue. I think you know what I mean. I have never received an infraction yet, but I did receive a warning for posting a pic of a cute little baby when Tif announced she was an aunty (think it was Tif). Now I actually knew it was not allowed to post pics of minors but I considered that this would be overlooked cos it was a cute little baby to bring a smile to Tifs face. It wasn’t overlooked, it was removed and a warning was issued. This is good modding. Had an infraction been given, this is bad modding.

Its nice to be nice... I think that maybe some may find guys like Donna to be a pain in the ass and would rather shut then up goodo rather than be polite. But its unfair to speculate. As I say, I can wait...

No, I dont think he was specifically told do not post this, he was told we are not going to take any action on this. So he posted it for the members to see... thats fair enough to me.
