    If x= "his live" and assuming he died indeed after spending 11 year as an old men, then see below. If he is not dead yet, tell me when he will and I redo the little calculation below:

    x = x/4 + x/8 + x/2 + 11

    x = (2x + x + 4x + 88) / 8

    8x – 7x = 88

    x = 88

    So, considering he lived 88 years and he spent half as an active man, then the answer is 44.
    God damn it Karin... you are definately not just a pretty face... Bang on!!!!

    Didn't I already say put your hand down Ms Delights......

    Yeah loads.... Here is an easy one..

    Dad gives you money every day to put in your new piggy bank. He gives money to you in such a way that the money in the piggy bank doubles with each passing day.

    If you already have 1 cent in the piggy bank and Dad gives you 1 cent the first day, 2 cents the second day, 4 cents the third day and so on, then your piggy bank gets full on the 12th day.

    On which day will your piggy bank be half-full?

    No, Since the money in the piggy bank doubles with each passing day, the piggy bank will be half-full the day previous to the one on which it gets full. Thus, the piggy bank will be half-full on the 8th day.

    Next time google the question, fool

    Use exactly four 4's to form every integer from 0 to 50, using only the operators +, -, x, /, () (brackets) x2 (square), and ! (factorial).

    Example: 0 = 44-44

    Here is one for you Anita to redeem yourself....lol

    Mr. Brown has 10 black gloves and 6 brown gloves in his closet. He blindly picks up some gloves from the closet. What is the minimum number of gloves Mr. Brown will have to pick to be certain to find a pair of gloves of the same color?
