There are many reasons why it can be addictive - not just the sex. I think the whole fantasy and intimacy without the hassle is a factor.

Trick is realising if its getting out of control and if so to limit yourself.

Can't agree more Franken. Good advice there - recognizing the pitfalls and setting boundries ahead of time is important. Mark's point about never spending more than you can afford is really important. When I first started punting, I went a little mad - seing escorts a couple of times a week. Would have become bankrupt very soon if I hadn't taken stock and set rules for myself.

I would see an escort everyday if I could! So I limit/ control myself by setting a budget. Although I must admit I have occasonally overspent the month's budget particularly when one of my favourite girls is going away for an extended break and I want to see as much of her before she leaves.

As regards money- in some ways having a budget or time contraint is a very good thing.. sometimes it's the only thing limiting my swimming around in this sea of hedonism- thanks christ!

I totally agree with what the others have said, I was in a similar position to you,first it's a bit like a kid in the sweet shop,spoilt for choice, but I've slowed down now,more choosy and have learnt to sort out the good reviewers from the knobheads and get to spend time with some gorgeous girls. Having said that depends how deep your pockets are !
