Obviously it is not ideal but perhaps he has not as much confidence in himself when it comes to sex and he feels this way could be beneficial as it may give them that extra confidence when he is meeting a girl on a night out etc....

I really think it is a bad idea. I would say the same to a girl who wanted to be an escort with hardly any sexual experience, this is something you have to have balance with, things to compare to, and the ability to distinguish the differences. Hey ho, possibly I am too serious.
