I was out last night and thinking that the club was definitely quieter than previous years.
I can buy a drink whenever I want. I remember thinking years ago, I won't bother buying a drink, because with the crowds, it was too much hassle.
I can't help feel that business can't be as good as it once was for many people in (if I might call it) the entertainment industry.

ive talked to many girls who were here during the boom time. 150/250 the standard, and they were literally flat out on their backs working. but since the decline they have had to fight thier corner a lot more. lower prices, fewer appts and more competition. im pretty sure there are more girls working here than there was 3 or 4 years ago(stats please!!). i reckon there are alot of girls being promised a lot of money to come over and escort in ireland. but when they comeover the reality is a lot different from what they expected. times have definitely changed inn the 'entertainment' industry

Valid point, I get nothing else all day every day than people looking for money off.
I think increasingly because they just don't have it.
I was paying wages yesterday, and to be honest I was a little embarrassed, nothing to do with me, blame Mr Lenihan.
And the worst of it is, it is going to get worse.

And by the way that is probably the best way to put it, rather than the line of crap running through the threads.
The girls can charge what they want and in the same way the miserable sods can refuse to visit.

Personally I have gone the other way by increasing my margins.

An escort may decide to have fewer clients at a higher rate.
Prices don't always have to go down in a recession!

Well, you are trying to compare the incomparable. The ladies on here are highly skilled, intelligent and self employed businesswoman.

You on the other hand are evidently unskilled and presumably not very intelligent as you spend your time making money for someone else.

Maybee you try to look at this that way : If prices keep on dropping , more and more of the good ladies will leave the country or the business for good . I agree on discounts when it comes to escorts is you can't afford it tough shit! these women are selling their companionship and it's almost impossible to put a price on that.

but in business its a different story, i was in a builders merchants yesterday one I would have given a lot of business to in the past, but stopped dealing with them because all the experienced staff left or retired and were replaced with dumb kids, anyway their rep has called me on numerous occasions to restart doing business with them (our custom would be worth about €250K a year) I went in and was getting €250 of cement color, young lad scanned it in, I asked for my discount and was told "everyone pays the same trade or not" what a crock of shit!! I walked out and they miss out on €250k worth of business a year.

in business it's a reality good customers get discounts, not everyone but good customers.

as far as wages go, the drop in pay for our staff is enormous since the last budget and it's hard to justify it to them, but it's out of our hands.
