The strangest place I ever woke up was a hotel in Galway called 'Currans' was on Eyre Sq. Weird weird place.

I woke up standing in the Dodder one night. No shirt, never found that.

A better night, was with some bird in a B&B. Too much Guinness, and you know it can cause very dark runs. Well you guessed it, everywhere. Unbelievable all over the bed, everywhere. Looked at her, on her too. I got up and tried to wash in basin in the corner of the room. Got dressed and crept out the window. Ahh the good old days.

Ok last weekend. Wonder if I got lucky?

As a teenage run-away, who happened to be homeless; I once woke up in a drawer in an apartment complex. I'd been party the night before with a friend who suggested I sleep in the drawer; we dopn't have the necessary quarter to get it to start, but I slept in it anyway

Have woken in fields, ditches and doorways. Have woken at the bottom of stairs covered in blood.

Have woken covered in puke and v grateful I was facing the right way ...

Have woken in hospital, garda custocy and in weird situations - in bed with a friends girlfriend (x4), in a foreign city with no recollection of airports either end (London x 3, Brussells, Prague, Budapest ...)

Personally my worst was waking on holidays one morning and not being able to find my glasses - couldn't see a thing. Eventually found an X-Ray of my skull from two days earlier!

Could go on but shan't. Suffice it to say am in early stages of recovery - am being honest here in the hope it helps someone. Drink is great but not for everyone - if you have been effected half as much as me, think about getting professional help.

Last NYE I woke up in the toilet of a club in Paris. Not on the toilet. Just in it. I was dressed as a "French Maid" with the word Salope written on my cheek in lipstick. I have never lived it down! The cleaner who woke me thought it was hilarious.

Oh to be that cleaner! What a sight!
