I was moved by this thread so I went next door and asked my elderly neighbours if i could assist them by doing some shopping for them. They gave me a little list of necessities they needed ..... 80 Silk Cut and a bottle of Jameson!

yeah i have ...i have even given them coal and i have started the fire for them..(thats true i live in a rural area and we help each other...but i only helped my nan and her friend) so tell me what have you done????...apart from starting a lovely heart harming thread.

we are all going on about the snow this week... at least wether we are escorts having cancelled appointments.. or clients not able to get to appointments at least one thing we can say is we are warm.. inside houses.. or hotels or apartments... lets stop and think on them that can not afford to heat as they need their money for something else or them that have no homes as many during these hard times have become homeless... so lets say thanx for what we do have... and be grateful for it...xxx

being homeless is a real fear of mine and I'm extremely grateful life worked out the way it has for me so that I haven't ended up like one or two people I know, thankfully I don't do drugs, drink/punt/gamble any more than I can easily afford and have a very large and supporting family I could always approach should I need help. That being said it's realising you are close to being homeless then admitting it before it's too late is a major problem for some people.

I always give money to the truly homeless when I can (I actually bring a pocket of cash for them when I'm knocking around town), there is an elderly homeless guy I see most days of the week and I have made sure to give him at least €10 each day I have seen him this week as the thoughts of anyone especially the old spending the night out in this weather is just sickening.

just being honest danny.. a lot of the elderly have not the money for food and heat..

Sadly some will die like that 81 year old man last night and even more will suffer because of those FF and banker bastards . No politicians home will be cold though.
