I have to say,that I hate the use of the term Punting in reference to an appointment with a Lady!!

To me punting is somthing you have on a horse!!

I cringe when I see the term!

Now I do not know if Ladies are offended with the term, maybe, it is taken in the way most of the guys mean it, in a non equine way

Just a thought, if people started to think in terms of an appointment and not a punt, maybe just maybe, they might actually put forth an effort to arrive on time, not piss the escort about, and manage to leave on time too.

I think its because it sounds like the word 'cunt', which is probably the crudest word in the english language and I would only use it in jest (I'll send you a PM before I use it next Danny...just to prepare ya like)...But the use of the word 'punting' is so commonplace here, I think we all use it unconsciously.
