(a) If six girls can plant 90 trees in a day, how many trees can ten girls plant in a day?

(b) If five men can dig a hole in one hour, how long will it take two men to dig half a hole?

If the five men are Irish I would say 1 Pole could do it faster

1. Depends on the size of the trees....saplings r much eazier.......conifers are a bitch to plant, especially in clay ridden ground.

2. Depends which County Council they work for....i'd say Cork wd be the longest to dig ur half hole......no record setters down there!!
