You still seem not to be getting what I am saying. Ad Staff make mistakes. Both the ladies I'm talking about sent verification photos to E-I. For whatever reason Ad Staff listed them as not verified, even though the profile pics were theirs. If E-I adopted your no unverified pics rule then there would never be a way to correct such mistakes.

The verification system is not the best but they have to work with whats there . If i was an escort advertising , i would make damn sure that my pictures were verified rather that have no pictures on a profile. Am I basing my objection on a small percentage? Maybe, but probably not. I would guess the number of ladies who have had problems with their verification pics at some point is fairly large, but we tend not to notice, because they often get sorted within a few days. I just noticed those two because I happened to see them during those few days when there was a problem. But it will be much harder to sort out such problems in the future if there are no pics up to compare to the escort. I definitely don't agree with your point that escorts shouldn't need punters to verify their pics. That is the only meaningful form of verification. Who am I going to believe, someone who has actually had an appointment with the lady or someone sitting in an office in another country looking at a picture sent by someone they've never met and never will meet?

I think that those escorts that are unverified or using stolen picture wherever they are from be it a escort or a porn star should not be allowed to have pictures on there profile
Without verified pictures they will probably see a drop in there business is if they are using

Its NOT fair to all those genuine escorts who do have verified pictures AND they are the escort in question to be put in the same box as those escort who arent verified and are using fake photos ect

one thing that might work is different level/ratings of verification ie

level 1 Gold Definalty the girl in the picture - this could be done possibly from the reviews buy adding a option on the review for

definatly not the girl
it could go across the top of the escort profile


level 2 silver verified by photo sent to escort ireland which is what is done now

level 3 bronze verified but suspect as far as ad staff ect are sure (buyer beware)

I believe escorts which have had posted fake pictures, should have all their pictures removed until verified.

However, if there is a new or established escort,which there are many.
They should have their pictures displayed for a predefined period to allow the verified process to be completed.
If we do not allow unverified pictures until verified, this may disadvantage the up and coming escorts, irish-escorts and punters alike.
If one escort fakes, this surly should not harm the genuine escorts who may be awaiting verification.

The question really is what to do with photos which Ad Staff isn't sure about. At the moment those are marked unverified until Ad Staff get more information. An don wants to remove them, and most people seem to agree with him, but I think he and they haven't really thought this through. Remember, we aren't discussing fake pics here. Everyone agrees those should be removed. We are discussing pics which may well be genuine. And we will never find out whether they are genuine if they are removed from profiles, because the only people who could confirm that they are genuine, reviewers, won't be able to see them.

Like what? How is the escort supposed to prove those pictures are her? There are no E-I staff anywhere in Ireland. How exactly do you think E-I are supposed to know whose pictures those are? E-I photo verification is not reliable. It never has been. It never will be. That's not E-I's fault, really, it's just the way things are. But you can't make people's ability to work depend on it.

In the meantime, punters taking a gamble on pics that may or may not be accurate can be out of pocket through deception.
I know that it's still the guy's decision to go ahead with the punt, even if the lady is not as per her pics.
The process of verifying escort photos needs to be dealt with far more professionally by E-I.
I don't think an excuse like 'Ad staff are too busy dealing with other things' is satisfactory.
If they are too busy, then hire additional staff to deal solely with the photo accuracy, and make it mandatory for all escorts that their profile isn't put up until they have provided the required proof. I have heard complaints, previously, from ladies about delays in getting their profiles put up, even after they have paid the fee, so additional staff should reduce this delay.

Of course, it could mean a reduction in advertising revenue for E-I.

Let me ask everyone a simple question: What do you think E-I does, or should do, to verify a photo? Presumably they should put it through tineye, as Lucy said, but then what? Tineye will tell you whether it's a porn star or not. But it won't tell you whether it's the lady's hot friend, or one of her pimp's other girls, or even her, as she was 20 years ago. So what do you think they should be doing?

E-I has photo verification because other sites have photo verification and E-I would look bad if they didn't. But it's not something you should really take seriously. And that's not ever going to change.
