    Default Is it cos he's gay?

    Gay GAA star, Donal Og Cusack is being courted by two of Ireland’s political parties to run for office in the next general election.
    The Cork hurler became Ireland's first major sports star to admit that he is gay with his best-selling autobiography last year.
    He is now being linked with both Sinn Fein and the Labour Party for a possible career in politics.

    Is it solely because he's gay or does he have something to offer?
