Lets see how it pans out, as I said earlier. First court case in friday, but Broughton saying they have a few more aces up their sleaves sits good with me at this time.
I assume Broughton is siding with the crowd who will secure his job. Doubt it's anything to do with any real loyalty to Liverpool. The last Chief Exec (can't recall his name) did the same when bringing in the Americans, but eventually got forced out after clashing with Benitez. As long as Broughton knows his place is in the board room and not signing players then that's fine.

Doesn't Kraft have a stake in Arsenal?

The previous one was Parry, he was only interested in getting his new ferrari. Kraft doesn't have a stake in any English football team, he was interested in buying Liverpool when it was previously up for sale, but decided against it, because there isn't a wage cap in the PL.

If you are interested, here is the QA Broughton did. He is here to sell the club, which he has done. He has always said this was what he was here for, and in London City circles, it has been known for a long time that he took this quite seriously, because he doesn't want his business career to get blemished. Afterall he is the MD or whatever for BA, so he knows his ways around these big purchases etc.

He has had all sorts of comments thrown at him, until yesterday evening, so saying he is siding with the crowd couldn't be further from the truth.

Highwayman you should be the P.R bloke for the next Pool manager because that's exactly what he's gonna say.

Don't think so - too many cash restrictions

The other side of the city, I'd say, where he will be able to build exactly the team he wants

Mourinho won't go to Utd if that debt is still hanging over them. Manchester City is the most likely destination for him. If he fails at Madrid he's not going to want to go to another club with such history and expectations. If he goes to City he's going to hhave as much money as he wants. Whatever he achieves will be a great success as they haven't won anything in years.

I wish I was then I'd be on a good wage like Broughton

They will be contenders but they won't win the league with City and Chelsea financial power. And hopefully by then Arsenal will have a very good side. Spurs are establishing themselves now and Utd are still at the top. It won't be easy. No matter what they do at Liverpool it's going to be a big task. They need alot of players as they have lost some very good ones like Macherano and Alonso. Alot also depends on them making the top 4 this season. If not then they won't get top players to come.
