I'm not following, don't you have written exams also? How will you get good grades in those?

I'm in America where they do things differently; I'm constantly having exams, but they're multiple choice questions; true or false questions; and fill in the blank questions I did have 'one' written exam, after the teacher told you verbatim
what was going to be on the exam-how could you possibly fail when the answers are just given to you like that?
