Thanks Sam for banning him. Is their any thing EI can do to stop this type of thing happening again.
It is all to easy for previously banned users to come back on here time and time again and shit stir.

To be honest, it's sometimes very difficult to know whether a person is a banned user or not. We do like to give people the benefit of the doubt in certain situations, and there are one or two previously banned users that are now very popular on the boards as a new user because they wanted to rejoin the community and post constructively.

Behind the scenes, we do ban quite a lot of trolls thanks to the vigilance of our moderators, so in most cases these go unnoticed anyway. I do believe that the number of trolls has reduced somewhat over the past few weeks, so thank you to the team and thank you to everyone else who reports these incidents.

Would it not be fair to let us know who the banned users are so we can make our own informed decisions as to whether we wish to interact with the new profile depending on the reasons they got banned in the first place?
