Has this info been updated since 2006? Because according to Interpol child prostitution age is 17 years old for Ireland.

I have decided to post a reply to this as it is such a serious matter, u are 100% wrong in what u say, if u are
caught having sexual relations with a person under 18 years of age for money it will be treated as engaging
in child prostitution. Even though the legal age for sex is 17, from an escorting perspective., any minor(u 18)
is consider a child under the law. In this country under law u cannot be considered an escort(prostitute)
unless u are at least 18 yrs old.
The information u gave out is very dangerous as it could give the impression that to pay someone for sex
under 18 is not a serious offence when u could end up charged with rape of a minor and that would be far
from funny

You are right, but a 17 year old needs to develop self-esteem and self-confidence the old fashion way-honest hard work-the ones I've seen start early in this business ended up as basic human filth;they had no redeeming quality about them.It was sad and suck.
