Laser eye surgey

I've been relying more on glasses the last few years. I find contact lenses irritating on the eyes. I think I wore them too long without taking them out .Has anyone here ever had laser eye surgery done? Is it as good as they say it is? If you look at the adverts the price seems reasonable too.

I had both eyes done at the same day, almost three years ago and it is one of the best things I have done in my life. I didn’t like wearing glasses and my eyes were very dry because of the constant use of contact lenses.
After a long research, talking to people that underwent to the surgery and going to some different clinics I made up my mind and have no regrets.
Go for a consultation, eye laser surgery is not for everyone, the doctor will tell you if you are suitable for it.

I have done a lot of research on this, not for me but basically if you are - you will get the wow factor as far as sight improvement, if you are + depending on how strong a prescription you have you may still have to wear glasses even after the surgery and the results don't last as long. Jasmin obviously had a positive outcome when she got both eyes done on the same day but very few of the reputable clinics and none of the eye surgeons I spoke to would do both eyes at the same time, worst case scenario if something did go wrong you would still have one good eye. Most common problem after is cloudy vision in which case buffing the eyeball fixes it.

Don't take this as gospel, but I believe if you are short sighted, then laser surgery works a treat, but if you are long sighted, you will be able to see your golf ball drop at 250 yards, but you still won't be able to see what's under your nose, you will still need your glasses to read the newspaper. It's like when I go out with friends, none of us wear our glasses, but as soon as you get the menu, out come all the glasses.

how can you keep the contact lenses without take it of? the surgery is a good option if you need it. i have astigmatism,i wear glasses,but if i'l need a surgery i won't think twice. take care of you.

I had a teacher in school that we called bonzo. He had the worst eye sight ever. He actually went into the wrong class a few times. Laser surgery? Bonzo needed a miracle. His glasses must have being an inch thick. Seriously you could set off fireworks on Bonzos class and he wouldnt see them. and the best part of it all is he thought us religion. Talking about Jesus and miracles and all that.

I got suspended over him and another teacher called guy. They came along giving out to two of us when we were out in the corridor after being thrown out of class. Course we couldnt keep it in.

hahaha he was playing us religious stuff on a radio one class and a guy asked him to turn it up. What does Bonzo do? He turns the radio over on its side.
