You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can't possibly live long enough to make them all yourself.

"A lot of football success is in the mind. You must believe you are the best and then make sure that you are. In my time at Liverpool we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside, Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves."

Got Civilisation 5 for the PC over the weekend, it's good enough so far. I was in trying to find Arcania: Gothic 4, but the shop nerd told me its release date had been pushed back - but you can get it on Steam.
Also, 4 days and counting until Fallout: New Vegas!!!!!
I've been playing Borderlands on the PS3 lately. Although it's a very basic FPS, the humour in it is brilliant and it incorporates an RPG level up system, so if you get stuck on a particular mission, you can level up and go back later.
It's fast paced and funny; one to try if you like that sort of thing.
Yes these are still my favourite games and like going into another world. Mario is great
I have to say Im am fairly addicted to Mario Kart on the Wii.

Am addicted to the xbox live
nothing beats the original Mario Kart on the SNES.
i bought the new Medal of Honour over the weekend to keep me going until 15th Nov when Call of Duty comes out, I have to say it is awful, finished it in not much over 4/5 hours. The multiplayer version isn't too much better either, i'll be trading it in ASAP.
also looking forward for the release of Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3 if they ever get their fingers out and stop messing it up
I found a site where you can play a massive range of ZX Spectrum games through flashplayer (ahh... the nostalgia!). However, there are two main problems with it:
1) You have to sort of mash the keyboard to work out the controls
2) God, the games are crap! LOL! I can't believe many years of my youth were consumed with loading these games for an hour, but hey... we didn't know any different!
Unfortunately, the link is added to my favourites on my home computer and I can't remember the name of the bloody site!
