Its not that you will learn everything in 10 lessons, these lessons should be used to show you how to hold, tune, re-string the guitar and other things like how to hold a plectrum.

When you start playing guitar your fingers on your left hand will be crying at you. Most people quit as soon as this happens. You should keep on going right through this. It takes about 3 months and your finger tips will harden. Then after that, the whole thing becomes an addiction you will never shake.

Also, buying a cheap guitar is a fatal mistake. Im not going to start arguing with anyone over this but if you dont spend at least 250 euros on one you might as well not bother (nothing in this world sounds worse than a guitar thats intination is off). - Spanish guitars (nylon string) are great to learn on and strum on but the sound isnt for everyone.

If you would like any more info let me know!

ps. Dont buy takamine guitar (like so many do) - overpriced crap
Wow, thank you for the information i'l take all the information on board. I have played a variety of instruments throughout the years and have become very good at all of them, i just hope its the same with the guitar and i will defo be getting a good one, you only get what you pay for

I would love to be able to play the guitar solo in this:

Sadly I'm much to lazy to practice regularly.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
