  1. Default Good evening

It's very nice to meet you all.

I am on my holidays in the West of Ireland and I had an awful bother today, one of my knitting needles snapped, I was wondering if anyone could tell me, where does one buy good quality knitting needles in Galway?

I am staying with friends, the Vicar and his wife, and she has kindly offered me her needles whilst I am here, but I shall be taking a train to Dublin in a few days and I would be lost without my knitting for the journey.

Although the West of Ireland is breathtakingly beautiful, the people are quite wild, so I must confess I am looking forward to travelling to Dublin where I hope the people will be less rough.

    Hello There!
Though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Very pleased to meet you Mr Almighty. Is that a French name? I used to know a Mr Almate from Rennes, though sadly he died in the War, his plane went down over the Channel.

On the contrary young man, a lady of my years is grateful for someone to escort her, especially on arduous journeys, like that awful ferry to Dun Laoghaire.

A herd of cats? How odd! We are solitary animals.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.
