A herd of cats? How odd! We are solitary animals.

“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

My goodness this one does speak English and seems to know a little of farming also. We've never seen the like in St. Mary Mead and I don't think Farmer Giles would know what to do with such a creature.

Good evening Miss Marple, glad you joined our wee site.

Whilst you are here will you be doing a wee bit of punting yourself now you’ve found us or perhaps you are or will become and advertiser yourself? I imagine chaps such as Dozer and The Highwayman would jump at the chance to visit you.

    John.

I don't bet on horses. A most coarse working-class habit. There are enough young girls in St. Mary Mead that I find I never need to advertise for domestics.

There was a young man once, but I'm afraid I never saw him again after that last goodbye on the platform in Paddington in 1914

I'm might not be as old as you imagine. I was but 10 years old when Queen Victoria died.
