    But thats the same as any tv Anon but still good advice. I have a Samsung LCD HD TV and I must say that the picture is crystal clear so much so infact that I started watching someone elses tv and I really noticed the blur when poeople were in motion. Like the World Cup

    yes Doozer thats the problem I have the blur when players are in motion in the World Cup I'm with Chorus not Sky...

    Ah chorus are not the best for a quality picture. Is it deffinatly a LCD and not a Plasma sold to you as an LCD.
    Plasmas quality is not as clear.

    Plasmas quality is not as clear.
    Plasmas tend to have a grainy effect,it doesn't really matter whether or not if you have sky or ntl.

    As far as i know plasmas are being phased out in the near future for lcd so their crap picture won't be arond for much longer.

    True, its the LEDs that are the new ones now, for a few years anyway then more come out better 3d/4D/5D etc HHHHHHDDDDD DEF 1 billion hertz and God knows what else

    LED thats what i meant but like you said who knows where technology for tvs will take us.With digital picture to be in every irish home by the end of next year replacing the anolouge it should see an improvment in qualitiy of picture.
