It would happen anyway,has always been like this and it will always be!And i think that are other things with more effect on people then politics,this would be religion.

Walking on water and feeding the 5000 - Spin doctors
Crucifiction - The never failing eventual fall from grace because of a scandal
Resurrection - The political come back kid

and we'll all plough back into church on Sunday and vote in the next election as if any of it matter... Religion or Politics.

Nicely put, I would agree with that, both are just a means to control the masses but at least we get to vote one lot out, the other shamful cretins we are stuck with.
