    Default Bloody Sunday Report

Anyone else waiting on this? 38 years, it's a long time ago, but the report is meant to be published this afternoon.

Probably only those who lost family or friends - perhaps now they can have closure.

I didn't have any friends or family caught up in this event, but for me it's an important event in our history.

This is going to be a very upsetting report... I dont know anyone involved directly either.. but any one of us could have been there on that day.. or at least some of our parents... And they wonder why we always cheer against the English in the WC..

Even if there are prosecutions, which I think is very unlikely, justice delayed is justice denied.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Well I hope the families get some comfort from this report. Nothing will take the pain away, but so much injustice and lying after what happened can only have caused more hurt.

It was wonderful to see the joy on the faces of those in Derry, waiting to have the good name of their deceased loved-one restored.

Bloody Sunday was a disgraceful event, one of many outrages which characterise the violent occupation of our land.

Let's hope that we do see prosecutions in the months to come.
