Probably a few reasons. Firstly an escort would like to hear the sound of you voice if this is your first visit. It gives them an idea of who is booking. Most will answer texts as soon as they know you. Secondly answering a text means that they have to initiate a communication and cannot guarantee who the recipeint will be. Stella has just said this. And maybe thirdly a messer could pick up your phone in the pub while you are at the loo and just do the maggot by texting an escort for a laugh.

Seems logical to me also, if I am travelling to a place overnight its nice to know that the escort you are interested in is available as the internet is not always available to see an alternative, it seems to be common courtesy also to reply! but the comments from other escorts also make sense!

Usually I would text in advance letting the escort know where I would be staying etc ( as it may be an area they dont like or maybe the hotel security may be a problem) but mostly they go unanswered, it helps break the ice for the client as Agnieszka suggested.
