I heard that too about them not willing to pay more than 30m and Toure as part exchange. It's all the better as Arsenal won't let him go cheap. If Arsenal don't want to sell he'll have to see out his contract. Martin O'Neill done it with Barry a few years ago when he wanted to go to Liverpool. When he stayed he had a great season with Villa. If Fabregas could stay for at least one more season and by any miracle Arseanl won anything he could stay. Wishful thinking.

I read earlier that Arsenal were going to dig their heels over this so it won't be easy for him to move. 30m is ridiculous when you see Berbatov was worth that. Also Ibrahimovic went for huge money and Et'o in part exchane. Those players aren't in the same class as Fabregas. If it's to go through then 50m would soften the blow.

Arsenal are in the driving seat on this one. Fabregas has a 4 year contract,we are under no pressure to sell and if kaka is worth 50m{after the season he has had with chelsea interested}after the season he has had then surely cesc is worth much more as he has youth on his side.

It will be a loss to the premier league if he does go which looks likely. Who can replace him at the Emerites. Arsenal are truly under pressure now. I heard they wanted Ineista as part of the deal. Not a hope. The reason its probably going to be a small transfer is because he wants to go. Unlike Ronaldo whose flair was priceless and Real Madrid have more money than sense. Barca are a mopre astute when it comes to buying players. Rememebr ye got Cesc for free off Barca so what ever Arsenal makes on the deal is pure profit

Profits no good if your teams weakened. Arsenal don't need the money anymore as their debt is pretty low compared to other clubs. They should stand firm. Players shouldn't be allowed to leave before their contract so easily.

True but if they dont want to be there they wont play as well as disrupting the other players, look at Gallas no one likes him at Arsenal he may be gone too

Player power rules these days unfortuantly,if a player wants to leave they usually get their wish.Look at gallas he threatened chelsea that if he was'nt allowed to leave for arsenal he would score an own goal.If Fabregas wants to leave he should,i want to see players who want to play for us.

Nasri admitted that himself and four others are not on speaking terms with gallas.

He is out of contract anyways, really can not see him signing a new contract, which is probably a good thing.

If james milner is worth 20m+ then surely fabregas is worth three times that.
