Dublin Massage Parlours of the 1990s

Ah the memories. They were great days. I just came across a few issues of In Dublin today that I had kept for nostalgic reasons 😂

Seeing the adverts brought me right back to those days. Going into phone boxes, ringing. Asking about the services and who was working that day. I recall having been to a lot of them. Great times in my early to late 20's and then things changing but continuing to see girls for another 25 years.

The early days were great. Don't get me wrong. I saw great girls all the way through but there was something great about the massage parlour days.

Haven't seen anyone since 2018 when the last girl I had been seeing for nearly 6 years left the business. Would still love to but the new laws are frightening the life out of me.

I wish places like these were still open. It would really solve the issue of finding the place which can be stressful at a time when that's especially the opposite to what you'd want

It wasn't any easier to find these places other than once you found one, you remembered where it was.
The usual procedure was that you were directed to a certain telephone kiosk and phoned from there for final directions. There were no photos to see what the ladies looked like before calling. You relied on a description of the ladies over the phone and if you didn't like the lady that answered the door you could ask to see the other ladies.
Many places opened 10 am to 10 pm with 2 shifts of 2 or more ladies on each shift. Many ladies only worked the same 3 or4 days each week. Ladies didn't tour though I did know one lady that worked in a different parlour on her days off.

Why didn't they just say their address when you called? There are girls who don't give exact addresses and expect their customers to be on time
