I guess he was following in the footsteps of the gangland kingpin he took over from, Martin Marlo Hyland, was murdered several years ago along with an innocent young man who just happened to be doing plumbing work where the murder took place; I know someone who use to send girls to Mr. Hyland and a few of his friends, sad to say, but they are all died., they were nice enough to girls I was told, but were major 'heavies' in the criminal world and not to be messed with.

The major heavies in the crime world are the guys who stay out of sight and call the shots. They make the money and get other guys like these guys to do their dirty work for them. I know a few of them in the Cork area and they havnt even laid hands on a drug let alone got a conviction. Guys get killed because they have become a liability. In fact only a few weeks ago it was said in a newspaper that the don had a boss.
