Not necessarily as we can't have too many things as a sticky here, but we will be redesigning the home page to include links to a guide to escorting which in turn will have links to this, plus we will be sending emails to escorts as they register pointing out documents like this.

Well-written, clear, and easy to read Pat! Cheers to you and the rest of the E-I staff for putting this up, it's as concise of a summary of Irish law pertaining to the business as you're likely to see anywhere, and will no doubt come in handy, considering some of the nonsense that's been going on recently (I'm looking at YOU, Athlone)!

I think this will be very helpful. I can't much comment on the content. That's not really my area of expertise. There is one area, however, where I think it would be good to include some more information. What are the rights of an escort when dealing with a hotel? For example, can they enter her room without permission? Can they throw her out on suspicion of escorting, or do they need evidence? Are they required to refund her money?

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Good points for a Version 2 in the future, but can't add to this one now as I just sent the final draft to translators!

I'd have thought you could have just opened the office door and would be spoilt for choice

No, we don't have any staff from Bulgaria or Albania. Plus we use translation companies usually even if we do have staff that speak the lingo, as most of our staff are too busy!
