Now that David Beckham has been ruled out of the World Cup who will the British media focus on in the lead up to the tournament?I guess Rooney will be hyped up as the superstar of the team but I think England will not make it past the quarter finals at best.

I think your right here. England will probably never win again, at least not for the next 50 years. They have the players, they have the management but unfortunately they have massive egos and can't ever seem to play as a real team. Its so stupid. I think the British Club football scene has really destroyed the English Team as a unified force. Its all ego and bitter rivalries between over-paid dip shits.
