Head Shops

This is the part that makes me think they are a bad idea. Its the possible mixing of various types of herbs,powders or whatever is the danger.Who knows how they react with each other. I reckon nearly all autopsies done on those who died from some type of drug or another,would show a mix of varying drugs or alcohol and drugs etc.

Its the mixing of various items and the fact that they may be counterfeits is what i find dangerous.

We do not live in a indivdual soceity we live in co-operative soceity. I.e. we all pay taxes
to support the police, health systems. Yes its none of my business what you put into your body

If people want to go in to these head shops thats their own stupidity not mine . I will not have a vacant unit just because you are on some moral crusade .

And as you said , i am thinking about my family and the lifestyle they have become accustomed to .

Never needed to use them, but often thought that their existence sent a message that society was giving a wink and a nod to drug use. But, hey, if people want to use drugs than why not make available the tools needed to use them.

as i see it now these head shops are a sort of a pick and mix. Buy and mix whatever you like. This could be very dangerous.

Long ago when I was a student I was more or less wasted 24/7. I loved smoking the real thing, I prefered to pipe or bong smoke because I didn't want to get addicted to tobacco which is much more dangerous. I had it there and then whenever I needed it. I was happy.

But when college was over it was time to put childish things a side. I stopped smoking things full stop. But a few years later I was in the need for getting baked. I had no friends or contacts with regards to obtaining the REAL thing. So I was left with the Head Shop option as they were just coming into the country. So I bought some Smoke and some magic mushrooms (as they were available legally at the time).

When I got home I got nicely baked on a bong load of smoke. Watched some porn. Had more smoke with a glass of wine. Watched more porn. Had a couple of wanks. Smoked more stuff. Fell a sleep on the sofa. Woke up the next morning. Smoked more stuff. Had breakfast and crawled off to bed for a bit. Got up at noon. Had a few smokes. Watched porn. Had a wank. Left the house. Went to Killiney Hill. Met a homless bum named Dave. Had a few smokes with him. Shared the mushrooms with him. Got really fucked up and had a massive laugh for the whole day going into night. Woke up in the forrest beside the hill. Felt like utter shit but at the same time had no real hangover. I was starving!!! Went home. Had breakfast. Had a shower. Had a smoke. Watched the TV. What a nice weekend.

Now what the fuck was wrong with that? It was free and easy man. Free and easy.

that ok for you RicFlair that can pick it up and drop it again but i see what it doing everyday to young lad witch most are under age and it sending out the massage it ok to use drugs. like you i smoked a bit when i was in collage but i know it was wrong and not good for my health lucky for me i got away from it but some of my friends did not and have health and addiction problems . so for me thats what wrong with them shops.

No don't get me wrong. I'm not at all saying its right for kids. I think anyone over 18 should have the right to buy whatever they want. I think its not being properly regulated at all mainly because the store folks are regulating it themselves. Plus lets face it, if people want something they'll get it. Its like the kids hanging out at the off-licence asking people for beer. Its not going to go away. Kids will always want to get fucked up on stuff. But regulating will limit it a bit.

Like yourself I too had college buddies that never quit getting wasted and just kept it up. I lost contact with those guys years ago but I still hear the odd tale about them.

Jesus all this talk about getting wasted is bringing back some very mixed-up memories man. I really liked smoking grass. Jesus that stuff is great. I might plan a little trip to Amsterdam sometime soon.
