Yes I would agree that many escorts probably do make more money than many clients, however of the women that stop working for men, I doubt that many do it in order to take a serious drop in income.

As for the guy who takes up with a working escort who makes more than him, I very much doubt that he loves her. Some men see having an escort as a girlfriend the chance of having free sex with an open-minded girl but at the first chance he will remind her about her "condition". Let's be honest. That is a very hard situation to deal with and not everybody can.
There is no love there but some men do think that escorts are lonely girls and it would be easier to get them.
