Does it matter if they have cctv of a guy entering an apartment?, I mean unless he admits to exchanging payment for sexual services OR the escort throws him under the bus they can’t prove anything actually happened at all, I think it would be a case of holding your nerve and hoping that they realise that the whole thing is more trouble than it’s worth.

More likely they stop you on your way out, ask you where have you been, who did you meet. A friend, what friend, whats his name, apartment nr. etc..

That's exactly what happened in this case and the guy ended up in court and was convicted.
