No party is going to get us out of this mess, unless the christian partyn have a direct line to God to help we are screwd anyway.
So seeing as we cant sink any lower Im throwing my hat into the ring.
Vote for me in the next election. Ill do Fcuk all but I wont lie to ye and promise things that cant be delivered
there isnt anyone worth voting for. Sinn Feins priorities are the North again and as long as Gerry Adams is leader it will remain that way. Labour and Fine Gael are just FF wannabes,The Greens arent vote a walk to a polling station.
Besides why the hell should i vote? I voted No in the lisbon referendum and it was accepted ,despite the No winning.
the hell with them and their votes,
Westside.
Back on topic...
... is it possible that Georgie Lee simply thought to himself "Hmm, I'll give it a go for a year and if it doesn't work out I can always go back to RTE..."?
Apart from raising his profile..........
Or didn't want to be blamed for not being able to fix things...........
Easier to say he had all the answers but nobody would listen.........
Ah...........poor me.............

"Politics is not for the faint hearted...............it's for the f**king heartless."
N.B. That's a Marvado original......any lazy journo intending to use that line better f**king reference the source, or I'll do you for plagiarism.
I feel he was a little naive of him to expect so much so quickly,i like George and if he is serious about helping Ireland,he should establish his own political party, the no doubt in my mind that the support is there for his views.
Where now for George Lee, there is probably a job back at RTE for him but doing what?
Since he was an elected public reprensetative im almost sure he is not now allowed to
be a political commentator for something like 7 years, so i suppose its No Frontiers with
Katryn Thomas for George or heaven forbid so he can be near the money winning streak
Blatant promotion should be outlawed
but
Vincent Browne is a Hero
more of a case of frustration. Enda Kenny is useless. Its being proven over and over again. He has about as much passionate fire in him as a melting snowball.
I agree with him establishing his own party especially if he is serious about politics. We need new faces and more importantly we need an alternative to the present parties who are all along the same lines except SF whose priorities will always be in the North.
like labour being left wing ,yeah right ,sure,
Westside.
