Thread: I’m shattered :(

    Default I’m shattered :(

I genuinely try to avoid upsetting news anything got to do with children I try so hard to avoid because it absolutely crushes me, But it’s been impossible this weekend, I’ve just read that 6 year old girl in Gaza who’s video asking for help went viral (I couldn’t watch it but it was everywhere, I just read about it) was killed.

Between that and what happened the six year old boy in Waterford I’m genuinely sick in my stomach today over it all I just cannot comprehend the suffering of children in this world.

I think that people do need to know of the atrocities that goes on in this world but I just wish to God I could avoid anything got to do with children because it cuts me to my very soul

Reading the stories and seeing clips from Gaza over the last few months has been very upsetting. Such a genuinely terrible situation, where poor Palestinians are getting caught in the crossfire and are suffering.

I'll never take for granted the relative, mostly safe environment we have here in Ireland.

I agree completely, and it’s really only in the last couple of weeks and it’s dawned on me how lucky we really are here living on this little island in this little corner of the world, okay we had plenty of our own troubles here for hundreds and hundreds of years but it’s horrific the situation is innocent people are born into around the world, and genuine hate people harbour

Yep, we are very lucky here really and easy to take for granted. I can't handle anything to do with suffering or unhappiness of children. All children deserve to be happy and safe.
